X06 News: Assasin's Creed

Well X06 is all over now, and although Day 1 produced plenty of big announcements, surprises and excitement, it must be said that the rest of the event was a little so-so. Although it was promised that there would be some big news regarding Halo 3 before the end of the show, no info was forthcoming.
However, Assassins Creed was shown behind closed doors and this game is looking nothing short of amazing. Ubisoft Montreal have really tried to create something that feels considerably next gen, and appears as if so far they are suceeding. A massive looking city was shown off, and the players can explore every inch of it. Anything that looks like it might be able to be climbed, can be climbed, and the swordplay animations look fantastic.

Scheduled for release next year on both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3, this one is definitely one to keep your eye on.
