One Piece Unlimited Adventure

July 6th 2008 01:26

Released in the United States in January of 2008, One Piece Unlimited Adventure, is one of the better anime video games.

In One Piece: Unlimited Adventure, the motley Straw Hat Pirates find themselves stranded in a mysterious land after a massive island rises to the ocean surface from underneath their pirate ship. Players must assume the role of their favorite One Piece persona and explore this newly formed terrain to uncover the secrets and powers that lie within this isle. With the Wii remote and Nunchuck controller, players pull, turn and swing to battle nefarious villains using each character's own unique set of moves including Luffy's "Gum Gum Storm" and Nami's "Cyclone Tempo".

Crysis Warhead is an offshoot of last years, Crysis. The game focuses on Pyscho, one of hte supporting characters from Crysis. Crytek promises more shooting, firefights, and explosions.

Warhead is supposed to address many of the problems and concerns that were uncovered with Crysis. The first being the storyline. Because the story is focused around Sergeant Michael Sykes, the gameplay will flow better, generally speaking.

You''ll encounter many of the same assests as in the previous game, as Warhead is set to follow directly after Crysis. But, don't worry, there are a few new vehicles and weapons to use.

For those of you who either purchased or pirated you own copy of the last Crysis, sorry guys, Crytek has strengthened their copy protection with Warhead. How the new protection will really work, is up in the air, but time will tell when the game is released. It's thought, if anything it will make copying the game more difficult and costly.

This time around Crytek is releasing less info about the, as last year with all the pre-hype about the game, there were many disappointed gamers as by the time the game was released the expectations were already pretty high. This time around, less info will be released, until the time gets closer to release.

Crysis Warhead will be released hopefully in fall of 2008, so maybe September or October.

Released in the U.S. on June 5th, DBZ can be found for PS3 and Xbox 360. Definitely check out the trailer before you purchase the game. I mean it's an okay game, but it's basically fan-based, in regards to the storyline and presentation of the game. There's nothing big and exciting about how the game is played out. For the most part, if you know the bigger story covered in the Dragon Ball Z sagas, then this is just a a series of fights, lacking anything special.

You'll see a good assortment of characters and battles; the battles and combat being probably the best aspect of the game
