Wii Sports Resort

November 30th 2009 13:42
With more sports games, Nintendo wants you to get active. The Sports Resort lets you take part in many water games, sky diving, sword play, and multi-player games. You can play by yourself, against the computer, or with up to 4 other people.

The cool thing is that instead of having to buy the Wii MotionPlus separate, you get one when you buy this game. It makes gaming more precise and entertaining. You'll find that there have been mixed reviews about the accessory, but for the most part, it seems people do like it.

Try out the Wii MotionPlus Wii accessory, and play Wii Sports Resort. You won't have to go to the ski lodge, when you can ski in your living room. Turn the AC way down, throw on your biggest jacket, and you're skiing on a mountain.

Well, it's not quite the exact same, but in the middle of summer in the South, you'll find it's better than nothing.

Wii Active Life Outdoor Challenge

November 17th 2009 13:41
You can get active using your Wii. The Outdoor Challenge includes tons of games like river rafting, mine-cart adventures, log jumping, see-saw, jump rope, and the water trampoline. You can easily burn up a sweat playing this game without ever having to go outside.

You'll find that the amazon reviews for Wii Active Life Outdor Challenge pretty much tell you what is going on. There are over 200 five star reviews and nearly 100 4 star reviews out of 332 reviews.

Although, the game isn't going to be the most realistic or complicated, there is still going to be other aspects that you and most others will enjoy, as others have. One of the complaints, though, is the mat. Some people have had problems with the mat breaking after just a month or so. I guess these people are working out extra hard or abusing the mat, as fewer people seem to have problems with the mat that those who don't.

Best Wii Games

October 30th 2009 19:58
Wii is very popular, but it can be hard when choosing the best games. The games can be a little expensive if you buy them new from Game Stop and video game outlet stores, so you want to make sure that you spend your money wisely before you waste it. The good thing is that you can purchase the games cheaper online at places like Amazon.com, and when you're done with the game, you can take it to a local game store and trade it in or just get your money back. In many cases, you'll get a much better deal that way because you're buying it cheaper and they'll generally end up giving you nearly what you paid for the game.

But anyway, when choosing a Wii game, you want to get something that you're interested in and something that you'll enjoy for more than an hour to two. Below are some of the noted best Wii video games that you'll find available as of right now.

Nintendo Wii Cyber Bike

October 13th 2009 19:04

Wii has been on top of creating sports video games that get your moving and try to get you and keep you in shape. Instead of sitting down and playing video games, Nintendo wants you to get up. Well, Wii Cyberbike wants you to do the opposite. Nintendo wants you to sit down for this game, but they don't want you to take a load off and relax; they want you to work your butt off.

The Wii Cycling Sports game will come out in Europe January 2010, but release date elsewhere has not been confirmed. Same with the price, it hasn't been announced. More than likely, the game will be a little more than most due to the bike.

The Wii bicycle is a full sized stationary bike, give or take. But, it's very lightweight. I would expect that there will be a weight limit, depending on how stable the bike really is. Personally, it doesn't look that stable.

You'll get your workout by pedaling, but since pedaling alone is very boring, the Cyberbike lets you save the planet while you ride. The game takes you through imaginary scenes where you'll clean up pollution so that the planet is clean and sparkly versus gross and dingy.

Personally, the game sounds like it'll be a boring flop, but we'll find out when it is finally released. I'd say the game would be more interesting if you were racing in a real race versus saving the planet from pollution, but I can see where saving the planet deal is a good message, as it blends with the whole saving gas and reducing emissions by riding a bike theme.

Active Life Extreme Challenge

August 25th 2009 00:14
The Wii Extreme Challenge is a great new game for the Wii Active Life series. You'll find that it has similar issues as the other Active Life games such as coordination with the mat and the screen, but overall if you're into getting fit and playing Wii video games, you'll want to check it out.

Wii Sports Active

August 3rd 2009 21:13
If you want to use video games to get fit it really is possible, and it is a great idea if you really want keep your mind to it. Wii Action Sports is a spin-off, in my opinion of Wii Fit. If you like Wii Fit, then you'll like Wii Action Sports, but if you liked the normal Wii Sports, you'll still like this one.

I purchased Wii Sports Active for my dad because he likes to work out, and I thought it would be a nice change to his normal workout routine, and so far he's enjoyed the game. You just have to be careful of the Wii remote not registering your moves, so make sure the sensor bar is placed just right

The X-Man Wolverine movie has been fairly popular in the theaters, but the video game has been said to be much better than the movie... Not just one person has said it, but many... Even Hugh Jackman has given his approval to the video game. He even took some of the script from the game and brought it into the movie because he was so dazzled by it.

The video game vaguely follows the plot in the movie, but at the same time it really goes beyond the movie, expanding on various scenes from the film

Wii MotionPlus Remote Attachment

April 8th 2009 23:44
The Nintendo Wii MotionPlus is an accessory attachment for the Wiimote control. The attachment connects to the bottome of the remote and traces motion in a 3D space so that you can better control the remote.

The MotionPlus attachment helps define your motion control by accurately reflecting your motions in the 3D space. It better tracks your arm position and orientation when used in combination with the sensor bar and the accelerometer
